I believe in a warm, collaborative approach, where I spend time getting to know and truly understand my patients and together with my clinical expertise, provide expertly tailored treatments.

I am a double board certified psychiatrist in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. My training allows me to understand a person from their developmental beginnings and how they are shaped by biological, psychological and sociological aspects of their lives. I see patients in a range of ages from children to adults, and offer medication, psychotherapy or both. I believe in a conservative approach to medication and recommend therapeutical approaches whenever appropriate.

I have a special interest in working with children with anxiety, depression, ADHD, as well as navigating the launch into adulthood. I spent a year in fellowship working in the perinatal clinic with new mothers and mothers-to-be, as motherhood is one of the most stressful, but also life changing times to navigate.

I am also fluent in Mandarin and have extensive experience working with Chinese speaking patients and recognize the importance of providing culturally sensitive care.

Above all, it is an honor and privilege to be able to help and work with patients in a time of need.
